There are multiple ways you can log into Windows 10. When you first install Windows 10 Microsoft forces you to create a Microsoft account and sign in with that account. There are ways around that during the installation, but the link is well hidden.
Today I will show you how to disable the Microsoft account login from within Windows. It’s really easy to do, all you have to do is follow the video below and you will be on your way with signing in with a normal username and password.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is click on the start menu in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Once you click on it go ahead and type in “user”. Once you type user you should see a list of items that match that search. Go ahead and click on the first item on the list which should be “user accounts”.
Once that window opens up go ahead and click on “make changes to my Account in PC settings”. Once that new window opens up, click on “sign in with local account instead”. You will have to enter your current password. Once you do that you will be prompted to enter a username and password. You can leave the password blank if you do not want a password on your computer, but I would highly suggest you did leave a password on your computer for your protection.
After that Windows will ask you to log out and then log back into your account with your new password. You have just changed from a Microsoft account login to a local account login, congratulations! Never again will you be pestered to enter your email address and password
